Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Household COO, Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. Using Wren means you accept them.
Who can use it
To create a household, you must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. The person who creates a household is its account holder, and an account holder can do things nobody else can: remove the household and everything in it, and connect outside accounts to it.
To join a household you have been invited to, you must be at least 16. A parent inviting a teenager is a normal thing to do here. An invited member holds their own to-dos and sees what the household shares, and cannot remove the household.
Wren is not for anybody under 16, and we do not knowingly let anybody under 16 hold an account. Households do record information about their own children, such as a name and a birthday, entered by a parent. That is a parent's information about their own family, not an account.
Wren is currently offered in the United States.
Your account and your household
You are responsible for what happens under your account. A household can have more than one adult, and adults in a household can see what is shared with it.
The person who created the household is the account holder. Only they can remove the household. Any adult can delete their own account, which takes their own information and leaves the household standing, unless they are the only person in it.
What you give us permission to do
You keep everything you put into Wren. You give us permission to store it, process it, and send it to the services listed in the Privacy Policy, for the purpose of running the product for you. That is all it is for.
When you connect a calendar, you are telling us we may read it. We write to it only for something you have asked us to put there.
What Wren does and does not do
Wren reads what you provide and makes judgments about it. Those judgments are sometimes wrong. Wren may misread a date, misjudge how long something takes, or miss something entirely.
Wren is a help, not a guarantee. Do not rely on Wren alone for anything where being wrong causes real harm: medical appointments, legal deadlines, financial obligations, or the safety of a child. Check anything that matters.
Costs
Wren is free while in beta. If we introduce a charge we will tell you before it applies, and you will be able to decline it.
Text messages and data are charged by your own carrier, at their rates.
Things not to do
- Use it to break the law, or to harass anybody.
- Try to reach another household's information.
- Attack, overload, or interfere with the service.
- Resell it or pass it off as your own.
Stopping
Delete your account in Settings whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
No warranty
Wren is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, or that Wren's judgments will be correct.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything you missed that Wren did not catch. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, or one hundred United States dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Wren after that means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes will be heard in the state and federal courts of Delaware.
